This icon is showing up, when I know nothing is plugged in

Hi,

My media volume is showing up with a volume symbol I don't recognise and randomly came on yesterday. I tired to make sure my headphone socket is clear and restart my phone but nothing has worked. Which has meant that I cant play anything out loud. 

Please comment if you have any advice.

I have the same problem on Galaxy F34 5G. Does anyone have any solutions. [Haven't used earphones(both wired and wireless)in a while] . Also keeps happening and has happened around 7 times  .

I have the same problem; I found a temporary solution. If you connect your phone to another paired device (I used a speaker) the symbol should go away, and sound should play but unfortunately once I disconnected the speaker the symbol came back. Let me know if this works for anyone. Hope this helps!
