Are you pushing the sim tool tray remover in hard enough? Sometime's you really need to force the pin in.

Thank you for replying. Yes. Even tried with the phone upside down! (LOL) and tried pulling it out with sticky tape at the same time as pushing the pin in. No success.

maybe the tray is damaged? you could bring it to your nearest samsung support centre so they can examine it.
