Texts not sending... but still received?

Every now and then when I send texts the phone claims the message couldn't be sent and the text will have an orange exclamation point next to it. Despite this the texts are still received by the person I'm texting.

Is there any point asking what is going on and if it can be fixed?

Turn off wifi and then turn on mobile data and then send any messages. If don't work try open message app and click on 3 dots, after, click on settings. Click more settings and finally click on text messages. Check if mensage centre is filled with your carrier number if not search on Google your carrier message centre and fill on it. Hope this can help you.

I also sometimes encounter this @EffThis which appears to me to be a Network Server glitch and usually self resolves itself.
