Streaming on Samsung Galaxy A3

Hi,

I'm no longer able to stream to my TV from my Samsung Galaxy A3 as the screen mirroring icon no longer appears.

Please could someone help me with this?

Go to your quick settings by swiping down twice, and there should be an option called smart view, tap it and you can see a list of devices you can mirror to.

You can't swipe down more than once on a Samsung A3 & there's no smart view.

I can't even stream YouTube anymore.

there should be a cast button on the top right of your video

make sure you are connected to the same wifi network as your tv and not using mobile data as the tv will not show if you are using mobile data

I only have 1 wifi network. It used to connect fine until Thu evening. The cast burton doesn't appear in any of my usual streaming apps & YouTube can't find my TV anymore. It's so random.

wow thats really bad, which A3 do you have? 2015, 2016 or 2017 version?

I have an A3 2017 which is my old phone but I still use it sometimes and I still have smart view even though I did a software update in December
