Software update on A20e

I had an automatic Samsung software update  that was applied last night. Since then WhatsApp won’t run unless my mobile data is switched on. Fb isnt  a brilliant response time now and unable to see the comments in ‘Notifications’. Screen seems to pause and not move to the comment. Been on to Samsung chat, response time between messages is rubbish because they are working from home. Been on for hours to them but had no idea and in the end I was disconnected. Anybody got any suggestions or having the same problem.

My suggestion when a phone isn't behaving after an update is to first ......

Check your apps are updated in the Playstore @Springchicken 

Clear the cache of the app in Settings.  Apps. Tap on the app in question.  Storage. Clear Cache.

If necessary clear the data part too.

Try clearing the system cache files by turning the phone Off and then from a set series of button presses clear the cache. No info is lost this way.

As a very last resort back up and remove any relevant Sd card and factory reset.
