I've recently got a new Samsung A14. I can't get screenshot to work. When I press the side buttons it goes to the Power and Restart screen. There is nothing to show take me to screenshot. Help!

To capture a screenshot, simultaneously press then quickly release the Power
and Volume Down button.

Yay thank you Fiona it actually worked!! It's getting the knack I think.

There might be an easier way on the a14 for you. If you go into settings > Accessibility > interaction and dexterity > Turn on assistant menu. You will then have a little icon on your screen. Click on it it will give you a little menu to some quick easy to reach buttons. One button being screen shot. You may find it handy. Hopefully it's a feature your phone has. Give it try.

I think I love you 😂. I've been trying to take a screenshot for over an hour and all I seem to do is turn down the volume or get the restart screen. I have followed your directions re accessibility features, and voilá it works! Thank you so much, fiona26

I'm 2 years late, but I wanted to thank you tremendously for this! There had to be an easier way to screenshot without trying five times and changing the volume or having the volume bar show up on your screenshot! I am so grateful to you! That annoyed the ***** out of me!
