Yet another issue to add to the many that make me wish I had never brought a samsung phone...

There is an icon for an app showing on the home screen, it is over two other icons. I never added it there and even though I've uninstaled the app it's still showing. Any ideas how to remove this. 

Wishing I could get rid of the phone and afford one fit for purpose.

Don't even know what that is, just using as it came from Samsung

@Paul160 hello, first do a forced reboot: press and hold power button and volume button, about 10 sec until the phone reboots.
Yes, after restarting the phone, this icon remains, it clears the cache and data of the One ui Home app.
To do this, go to Settings / Applications and look for the ONE UI Home app, in storage, delete the cache and data. You will have to reconfigure the desktop icons. Greetings.

If you press and hold the nectar icon, does it give you the option to remove?
