Samsung points are gained by buying things on the samsung store. They can be redeemed for discounts on the samsung store.

You get 1% of anything you buy back in points. Spend £1000 on something, you get £10 in points.

If you have spent a total of £1000 in the last 2 years on samsung.com, it's 3% back in points.

Spend £3000, 5% back in points.

The idea is to buy samsung things on samsung.com instead of amazon or other places

It is free money. If a phone costs £1000 on amazon and samsung. Only samsung would give the £10 in points. They want you to pick their website over another if both have the same cost

You have to buy items from the online shop or the app shop. You don't get very much in the terms of value.

Yes, of course, that's why they do it. But as a consumer, it's a discount compared to other sellers. Meaning buying a £1200 phone via samsung.com is better than buying a £1200 phone on amazon. Because samsung will give you some money back for the next thing you want

Samsung simply provide an incentive you purchase through them.

A person needs to be logged in to their Samsung Account be able to be aware these Reward Points.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/rewards/

Other incentives via them is further reductions by buying through the Samsung Store App, and by choosing any available promotional items.
