Samsung music application

Hi all I've got a Samsung Galaxy A15 5G that had came out in December time 2023. And when I first got this very budgeted phone that is working good but it had like software updates but like 6.1 and running android 14 still lagging this phone that I own don't function as well as it supposed to be everything's laggy 

Examples: 

1. Power oning the phone

2. Using other social media apps 

3. Playing online games running 30FPS seriously 

4. Sound quality is bad 

5. Samsung music the application app needs new features right now it's so bad 👎 

All this needs sorting out seriously you lot say good budget phone nah I don't think so this phone let me down so much. 

Even with the new A16 that doesn't even have that earphone jack that's at the bottom beside the charging port like come on. 

Is the Samsung company going down at least add stuff for old devices

Hi!

1a. I would suggest going through your apps and deleting any you don't use that may be delaying bootup. You may also try clearing your phone's cache.

Connect to PC/laptop
1b. Turn off the device. 2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and Power key. 3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys. 4. An "Installing system update" message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. 5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight "clear cache partition". 6. Press the Power key to select. 7. Press the Volume down key to highlight "Yes", then press the Power key to select. 8. When the process is complete, "Reboot system now" will be highlighted. 9. Press the Bixby/Power key to restart the device.

2. I would suggest clearing the cache for those apps as well. Settings > Apps > choose app > force stop > clear cache.

3. The phone isn't designed for gaming; you should upgrade if gaming is a priority.

4. I would try cleaning the speakers and adjusting the sound settings. Settings > Sound quality and effects > adjust equalizer.

5. Due to this being a members-only platform, I would suggest going to the Samsung Members app > Support > Feedback.

For number 4 seriously I have one quad speaker but the Samsung Music app supposed to have additional features this is so unfair all S series most A series have like the features of Tube Amp pro effect and concert Hall effect why don't this app take part with this specific phone I have

S series will always be given more features. It may be work giving feedback to samung directly to share your thoughts on your phone 😊

I get what you're saying—budget phones should still offer a smooth experience, but it sounds like the A15 5G is falling short in key areas. The lag, low FPS in games, and sound issues definitely make daily use frustrating. Have you tried tweaking performance settings, like turning off background apps or enabling "RAM Plus" in settings? Sometimes, adjusting animation speed in developer options can also help reduce lag. As for Samsung Music, a UI refresh and better audio enhancements would definitely improve the app. Hopefully, Samsung pushes updates to optimize things for older devices too!
