Samsung A35 issues with wifi

Hi all

I've got a samsung a35 and I've got issues with wifi connections.
If I'm sat in the same room as the router, it connects fine.

I've also got some powerline adaptors that clone the WiFi signal giving me more range.

A fairly ancient tablet (android but not sure which one) connects just fine all through the house as does my kindle.

The phone, however, gives me a message saying "WPA3 connection required" when I try to connect to ghe vloned signal which I don't get when in the same room as the router.

I've tried:-
Resetting network settings on my phone
Updating to latest software version on phone
Ensured router is up to date
Forgetting network (on phone) and reconnecting

As I said, connection directly to router is fine, it's just with the WiFi extender.

Anyone any ideas?

Well I got your point because I had the same issue before a few weeks here's the best ways to fix it.

  • First just to be sure go to your Wi-Fi admin panel and enable WPA3 security and also check if your router have a separate sittings for the WiFi extender
  • If you have a extender which is a digitally connected or maybe a one with a admin panel then just simply go to it's admin panel and just select WPA3 security on it and try to set everything just same as your Wi-Fi router
  • Check if your router supports the extender, that could be rare but yea some router don't supports getting there range and network getting extended well only if you have a old router
  • Maybe your extender can be a old one which can be a problem which may not support your Wi-Fi.

After checking the things as I mentioned if your issue is solved then you can consider my answer as a solution. Thank you.
