Cant receive or make calls. Error saying cant while barring is on. I never put a bar on my calls. What can I do pls

this is really odd. Anyway, you can disable this from the Phone app> Menu (3 dots)> Settings> Supplementary services> Call barring> Voice call> All incoming calls> Turn off.

I have tried all of that. I have done everything possible but still the same. I tried to disable it, it asked for a password which I never set up before. So I tried 0000, 6666,1616,1919. But none working. Sometimes I get an error message that data not recognized, call bar rejected and so on. This is why I decided to send that message

I just tried again now, same story, call barring rejected. Wondering why I can even activate and deactivate it. I cant get beyond the password stage to even do anything

I have had a look at this, and all the information that I found points me to the network setting a PIN for this function. Have you tried to reach them to see if they are able to provide you with this and/ or turn this feature off @cardiness ?

I contacted my network provider and waiting for a response from them.
