Hello,
I bought a Samsung Galaxy A53 mobile phone recently. From the day one I observe that the GPS connectivity is not stable on this phone. Keeps trying to establish GPS connection while using navigation apps such as Google Maps, Waze. Even if GPS connectivity is established keeps loosing it while navigating - then you know what happens
I did test using GPS Test App. Though there are 20+ satellites in view, the device does not get a fix.
Has anybody encountered this issue? Can anybody help know if this is a problem with this model or there is some other reason to it.
thanks

Hi Martijn,
The issue is observed with all apps that use GPS. Apps I refer to are Google Maps, Samsung Health, Waze. Do you suggest that there is problem with one of these apps?
I have continued to test the phone since I posted this topic in the community. The issue seems to disappear. Not sure what changed.
Are you aware of any known issues with this model of the phone involving GPS?
Best regards

Do you also experience this when you have started your phone in Safe Mode? With the Safe Mode you start the device without installed third-party apps, the device then only boots with standard applications. Look here for information on how to start Safe Mode on your device: https://bit.ly/3gqindd
Kind regards,

Hi Martijn,
I do not see the issue anymore in the last two days. So, I am not yet sure if the issue is resolved. If it is resolved how, what changed is also not known? There was no update in the last few days. Even if I start the phone in safe mode, I am not sure what I will looking for...issue is not observed anymore in the normal mode. Anyways, I will do the test later today and feedback.
Thanks & Best regards
