Hello.
I have got the same problem as he/she above.
My phone is too sensitive for my uncoordinated fingers it seems. Is there an option to reduce the sensitivity so that a touch wont be counted as a swipe?
::I try to start an app. My touch is not recognized as a point but a line with a dy(diffrence between start/end y-coordinate of touch) of ~+/-28Pixel. My Samsung Galaxy interprets this as a swipe and wont open the app.
Same is true for hyperlinks, etc..
Is there a solution?
thank you

TLDR: Samsung I need a setting that lets me determine which parameters(dx,dy,Xv,Yv) must be met for a drag or a touch.
Good day,
so I still got the "problem". I have done some research. Swipe seems to be the wrong word to use.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/22843671/android-swipe-vs-fling
- Drag: Fine gesture, slower, more controlled, typically has an on-screen target
- Swipe: Gross gesture, faster, typically has no on-screen target
- Fling: Gross gesture, with no on-screen target
I think I have got a Drag problem?
Here are some data points. Most of them were experienced in chrome(duolingo) and at the homescreen.
green dots == touch (start the app, accept my answer, etc.)
red dots == drag (do nothing)
In this case: inside the circle is recognized as touch and outside as drag
but as you can see(green dot outside the circle) that is not the whole picture.
After some researching:
https://developer.android.com/training/gestures/detector
There are two more parameter the speed of the pixel-change in the x and y direction. Four paramters (dx,dy,X-velocity,Y-v) decide if it is a touch/drag/swipe/fling. After that I gave up.
SAMSUNG: I need a setting that lets me determine which parameters(dx,dy,Xv,Yv) must be met for a drag or a touch.
Please!
Thank you
