I restarted my Galaxy A23 and it did not reboot. Did all the usual DIY tests and nothing happened. Took it in to repair shop and the technician said I was the 10th person for the week. Apparently the latest update is causing Samsung Galaxy A23s all over Trinidad and Tobago to crash.

Hi @Trinicali
Try these troubleshooting steps please >
- Safe Mode > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then ling hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.
- Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
- Back up and factory reset.
If the issue persists send your feedback and error logs via your Samsung Members App.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

Hello Samsung your latest firmware update destroyed my Galaxy A23 smart phone, it will not boot into any mode, no recovery, no charging (battery was full before it broke), can't be hard or soft reset, holding down and power, or up and power does NOthing , This device was functioning perfectly until the latest update and I restarted it and it can't boot up dark screen now. The issue happened to 10 other people I know, please issue a repair or call back before lawsuits.

After updating my device on May 3rd 2024 with the latest software update for the Galaxy a23, the phone rebooted and never came back on. I tried all the troubleshooting methods that I can do at home, nothing worked. Phone seems to be completely dead. This is a problem in Trinidad and Tobago with a lot of people experiencing the same problem, no technician can fix it currently. Please, samsung do something about this.

Hi. I woke up this morning to find my phone dead! Recently installed the update. It worked fine up to last night! I am in such a bind here at the moment!
Apparently, this is happening all over Trinidad & Tobago. I do not know if it's happening anywhere else in the world but I do pray that Samsung takes note and DOES SOMETHING! It's your fault Samsung! FIX IT!

Submitting from Trinidad and Tobago. Two different A23 phones of mine are not booting up since last night. Both recently updated. One ran out of charge and the other shut down for itself.
Samsung what is the problem?
