After updating to Android 14, my phone is stuck on 4G LTE and cannot access 5G. I've even tried a factory reset, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Are there any known solutions?

An update to UI 6.1 fixed the problem.

Hi @benyamtad
First have you checked in Settings > Connections > Mobile Network that 5G is still chosen.
Also double check via any available Network checkers that 5G is still available in your area and check with your network customer support that your account is still provisioned for 5G.
You can perform a network connection reset in Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings > Soft rebootthe phone by turning it off and on > Then see what happens.
The phobe also has a diagnostic test in the Samsung Members App.
Feedback can be sent to Samsung via your Samsung Members App if all the above fails to help.
A Samsung Service Centre can assess your phone too.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask. 😎

Yes my phone is configured for 5G, and I'm in a 5G coverage area. Other phones in my house have 5G, except mine. This issue started after updating to Android 14 with One UI 6. I've tried resetting the network settings, but it didn't resolve the problem. I'll proceed with providing feedback through the Samsung Members App . Thank you for your help.

You're very welcome @benyamtad
As a process of elimination can you perhaps try your sim card in another phone that has 5G capabilities to see if 5G is attained.
Do let us know how you get on.

@BandOfBrothersmy SIM works on other 5G devices. So it must be my phone.

Fair enough @benyamtad and thank you for taking the time to try these troubleshooting steps.
Samsung will hopefully send you a reply to the feedback sent via the Samsung Members App.
And remember a Samsung Service Centre can help.
