I'm having a problem with my SM A54 5G touchscreen. After a while it was exposed to water in my wet bag when it rained. I thought the ip67 certification wouldn't bother me. Turns out I was wrong. The service center technician indicated that the cause might be due to water exposure. A water resistance phone that was damaged by water. Sounds bad for me. Then it made me think twice about replacing the LCD which cost almost 30% of my purchase for this phone.

The tests are done on brand new phones in set ways. They do a lot of work to try and stop water but there's no definitive way to prevent it

@Amin_1996 The A54 5G has an Ip67 rating which means it generally withstand submersion in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes, evaluations arrived at from lab conditions. However not fullproof and I would advise that care it was always taken. No Samsung Devices are waterproof as such, you were certainly unfortunate with your Device though.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
