Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy A40 which was dropped whilst on holiday, and now the screen doesn't turn on and there is a slight crack on it. The phone itself turns on as you feel it vibrate and calls come through to it. But the screen is completely broken. I have bought a new phone since, but unfortunately there are some very precious photos on the phone. Does anyone know if there is any way possible to get these photos off the phone and onto a laptop without having the phone fixed?

Thank you.

@ChrisYNWA: Have you tried checking Google Photos on your home computer, as you may find an archive of your images here?

https://www.google.com/photos/about/

Simply follow the link above, and sign in using the Google account details associated with your Galaxy A40. Let me know how you get on.

Just put it on usb to windows 10 computer open up as normal hard drive look in folders for your pictures ,

Drag them over to pc 8 at a time ( or phone can’t keep up),,,
