Samsung A40 lock screen notifications

Hi

I've just got the Samsung A40 and I just can't seem to get lock screen notifications to work for Messenger. I'm having to wake phone up to check if I've had messages, is there a solution?

Hi @Briant566 i have a galaxy a40 aswell and i wanted to change the way the notifications appeared on the lockscreen so just done a search in settings for lockscreen notifications because i couldnt find it in settings and that appeared. Glad this helped u 👍

@Briant566  i dont understand why yours isnt showing my messages icon shows on my lock screen and main screen i dont know about whatsapp as i use the standard messaging app and fb messenger for messaging if i find any info on it i will let u know asap.
