Samsung A33 notifications when screen is off

My old phone was an A50 and whenever I got a notification, it would pop-up at the top of the screen even if the screen was off, however with my new A33 no notifications pop-up when the screen is off, only when its on, and I can't find a setting to enable it, is there still an option to turn that off or has it been removed with the latest version of android?

You can set the always on display to show when a new notification arrives. The screen is blank until a notification arrives and once you have cleared it, the screen will be blank once locked.

There is no always on display feature in Samsung A33 5G. This is worst mobile missing basic feature.
