@Jean48: If you have pressed the Volume Up/Down button, then tapped the 3 dots at the top of the Volume slider to bring up the menu, then you should be able to remove it by tapping anywhere outside of the menu borders. If it is frozen on screen, try a restart as per the advice offered by @BandOfBrothers and this should resolve the issue.
