This appears to be a complex problem and I thought to ask here.
I have a plan in Europe, and I purchased a brand new A26 and the phone operates correctly, while in range of the network. In SIM manager the "SIM cards" view shows SIM 1, then the foreign network name "Virgin mobile" then my phone number. BUT if I get out of the network range (like in the USA, where I live) the phone is not roaming (I have that turned off at the provider) and the SIM manager shows that foreign network name, but instead of my phone number it says "Unknown number". So bottom line here - this is a working phone, with working SIM, just loses that recognition when out of the network in USA.
Next - when I log into the WiFi at my house - I am able to browse the internet, but I can't enable the WiFi calling. The WiFi calling is enabled on the provider level but this phone does not show that option at all. It is apparently not configuring itself correctly.
But now the interesting part is that I have a Samsung M35 and on that phone my SIM registers, shows the number in SIM manager, WiFi calling works and I am able to make phone calls and receive TXTs and all that despite being out of the network and not roaming. Unfortunately I have another phone line on it and can't use it for this SIM.
To solve this problem I tried a new A16, I tried a new S25+ ULTRA and both of them behave the same as A26, with no number recognition and no WiFi calling obviously. So my question here basically is how to solve this?
(I tried buying another M35, but since that model is a little older - it wasn't available for a purchase, and regretfully I bought that A26 instead)
What's wrong? Samsung is sending me to service with my phone, which I wanted to avoid.
Is there anything that I could do with A26 settings before I go to service with it?

Can someone please say something? What could be causing this incompatibility?
