Samsung a14 software update problems

Hi my Samsung a14 has been working great for last few years but since last software update it's driving me crazy. Csnt get into the lock screen for up to half an hour at a time. It doesn't register me swiping do my unlock pin can come up on screen. Have tried many things rebooting wiping cache etc but nothing works. Thinking of leaving Samsung and moving to iPhone something I said I would never do.

It's a bug affecting most a14 users. If you force reboot the phone, the screen starts working. Fix lasts maybe a day?

Set your phone to auto reboot daily and wait for a fix. Sadly that's kinda all I can suggest.

Also of note, an iPhone would cost maybe 5-10 times as much as an a14. If you were going to do that, just get a better A series device. My personal belief is that the a14 isn't powerful enough to handle the update. An a56 would be plenty fast and cheaper than any iPhone

Having exactly the same problem. Constantly send error reports, don't think they have an answer to it?

Just because an A14 isn't the most expensive phone doesn't mean the manufacturer can stop it working at some point. Some of us don't have the money to spend on expensive phones like the A56
