Samsung A14 5G touchscreen doesn't work anymore after update to One UI 7.0

after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore. 

How to fix this?

Just had a message from CEO of Samsung uk. A patch has been sorted and will be released today. That was for my galaxy a14.

Apparently a patch is about to be released according to CEO of Samsung UK.

Check for the software security patch.

It needs to be the Aug version.  You probably still have the May version.

I installed the Aug version yesterday and that fixed the prob

Yeah Steve, this is not a fix bro. You can't expect customers to 'soft reset' their phone hundreds of times with the small chance of them reaching settings in time to press the update button before the screen freezes for a software issue Samsung created itself in the firstplace. This whole ordeal is against EU Customer protection laws given many of us still have phones that supposedly are under factory warranty covering these kinds of defects. ***** you, Samsung, you showed your true face. I'm never buying your trash again, and I strongly suggest any of you on here don't do either to make a statement.

Why are we paying fro a Samdung phone that fiesta work. Freezing all the time especially receiving g phone calls.

I know what you mean, its a real bummer

Once you get into the phone , it shouldn't freeze again till you lock (or it locks)

I found there was loads of time to go to settings and download the Security Patch

If you can't do that once you get in, keep touching the screen to keep it live while you do the job

Sometimes when i unlock my phone it doesnt respond so i have to lock and unlock it several times.its been starting ever since i update to one ui 7.help?
