Samsung A14 5G touchscreen doesn't work anymore after update to One UI 7.0

after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore. 

How to fix this?

Do you mean a patch update or an update about what you're doing about the issue(s) and a timeframe?

I thought I'd posted this, but it disappeared again....

 

Do you mean that there will be a patch update for the phones shortly, or that you will be making a statement about the rollout issues (hopefully with a timeline for an actual patch) shortly?

Yep, I've got the same problem...pretty sure it's not a hardware fault as it coincided precisely with the ui7 update.

Did I miss the 'update'? What is the 'update' - is it a patch to fix my phone or an announcement?

Edited to add:

If I didn't miss the update, can you define 'shortly' for me? Is that days, weeks, months....?

As so many phones have been rendered unusable by this release, have Samsung given any idea of when they will release a fix?

Haven't seen that Samsung have acknowledged any issue.

If it were a device issues, every device would be affected. They aren't so it is more likely to be a software conflict with an app or apps.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Maybe, but all the phones were working on Ui6. It may just be a few hundreds that are broken now, but Samsung still broke them. (It's may be thousands, who knows?) Certainly seems to be all A14

This page has the rollout plan. Not sure what regions (edited to add - I think this is South America going by the Contact details at the bottom of the page) this is for - but it seems my phone's update went according to the planned rollout. I'm still at a loss as to why the rollout went ahead after what appears to have been a halt on the rollout - https://www.androidpolice.com/samsung-hits-pause-on-one-ui-7-rollout-due-to-major-bug/

Iv'e seen posts on here about the A14 model and the issues that your facing but I don't know of any other models are effected.

Possibly so but unless EVERY A14 is impacted then it won't be a software issue on its own, it must be a conflict with other software that the user has added to their device.
