after updating my A14 5G to One UI 7.0, my touchcreen doesn't work at all anymore.

How to fix this?

Exactly will maybe look at any make of phone around same price other than Samsung. Won't be paying more than £100-£150 for a phone.

I'm not blaming the phone. The a56 thing was saying swapping to apple wouldn't be a solution, a faster phone in general would be.

My thought is samsung was a little over ambitions in what the a14 could handle.

Yes, I think that will be my next move when this is out of contract!

I try sweeping up down left right....nothing. Once I tapped all over the screen and that worked, never worked again! Are Samsung working on a fix?

This is the latest reply from the UK CEO office. I think it implies that they do realise that they have a rollout issue. How long the fix will be, who knows? It seems that thye started rolling out in April/May time on certain devices and had issues and potentially stopped the rollout - so I'm not quite sure why they continued the rollout on my device model  (unless they weren't aware of issues on that particular model - but you wou;ld have hoped they would have done more robust testing wouldn't you?).

Maybe I've missed it, but I think the lack of statement about the problems from Samsung is appalling...anyway, here's my reply to the UK CEO office for their latest EMail...

This appears to be a sea change in your stance. So you are aware of the affected users? How can that be? - I presume that ALL of the affected users haven't contacted you, so the only way that's possible is if you know of an issue that affects specific devices. I would hazard a guess that it affects devices with a certain release version of Android/UI - and maybe on a specific chipset.
It is also then slightly disingenuous  pointing users at Twitter, X,....blah, blah, when you already know there is
nothing that that level of 'support' can do apart from collect symptoms of the rollout bug.

If that presumption is correct, then not making your users aware of the issues and letting them find out themselves  - the 'hard way' - is pretty poor in my book. Your management of this situation is appalling.

Do you have a statement that you'd like to make to your own Samsung Community forum?

Please explain why you need my IMEI when all my phone logs have already been provided - and when I would, again, assume that you will provide a patched release that targets all phones in a group - and you will NOT target individual phones.
