Hello! In the last days i have an error with charging display. As you can see in this video, battery information blincks when i put my hand at the middle/top of the screen and the same if i make dark around the phone.

Also, sometimes, when i move the phone on the table without puting my hand on the screen, starts blinking very random and strange not as it happens in the video.

The phone with the problem is a Samsung Galaxy A53, but the same problem persits same with a Samsung Galaxy A55, bought one month ago and i'm sure there is not any chance both phone to be broken in the same time.

What can i do, or is normal after last updates? I already start the phone with Safe Mode, and this thing isn't generated by an app.

Hi, and welcome to the UK users community.

I looked at the video, and the dimming seems to coincide with a ticking sound. What is that?

That sound is a clock. Doesn't make sense to be this a problem

Thanks. Perfect one second intervals too. This looks like an adaptive screen brightness function. I notice this is occurring on the AOD, is that correct? Do you have Good Lock installed? If not, then install it from the Galaxy store and use its Lock Star module. It's got a Always on Display Brightness setting. Toggle it off and set the slider to Max.

All the time i had disabled Always on Display disabled. The only thing enabled is the one related to the charging status.

Good Lock app is usefull too for this?

Have you got Good Lock installed? If not, see my reply to OP. It's an adaptive screen brightness thing. I can replicate it on my S23U. Covering the sensor dims the screen. To resolve, use the Lock Star module and toggle off the AOD Auto brightness and set slider to Max.

Yes, I use it and can replicate the same behaviour. Install the LockStar module and Just toggle off the AOD auto brightness setting and set the slider to Max. The seperate AOD and screen brightness were merged in the UI 6.1 update much to the annoyance of everyone.
