Hi. I want to retrieve some text messages I deleted from my recycle bin on my Samsung phone. Every time I try and do this a pop up screen appears wanting me to set up a 2 step protection process which I don't want to do. I think I'm possibly not in the right place as surely this should be more simple and straightforward. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I would suggest that you open the file explorer, the recycle bin should appear as a folder. If anything is there you might have the option to restore them.
Good luck

Hi, using the above suggestion, I found my long searched for recycle bin on my A51. My files > analyse storage > recycle bin. Wasn't much there though as things are automatically deleted after 30 days (I think🤔)

Thank you. I eventually found them. I just had to go into Messages and click on 3 dots top right of page and recycle bin was in there. I just assumed it wouldn't be that simple.

Sorry forgot to say that's very useful way of doing it 👍 too.
