Hi everyone... Dose anyone use ram plus? Alot of online advice is saying to turn it off to improve performance I had it on for a few days and my phone was every now and then sluggish and would stutter so I've turned it off

Anyone else had the same experience with ram plus

Hiya, I turned my ram plus on when it was first introduced, but I soon turned it off . When I found all the above in your message to the case. So, I turned it off. And now a day's my phone is the galaxy s23 ultra. And it has 512.GBS of space. Should be plenty I thought of this when I signed my contract

I do not think it is generally advantageous  to use Ram Plus in flagship devices (though can obviously test it), a number of users  found that having it disabled boosted performance in their devices. I tried it a while ago and best disabled,  Ram is faster than storage.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hi @WBENSTOCK

When I first had a phone that has Ram+ available I did turn this on to see how the phone reacted.

I didn't see any lag however I also didnt see any noticeable improvement either.

I concluded that my phone has ample inbuilt Ram and damages that Ram very well.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Hi.

Ram plus was designed more for phones with less ram like a readynoost feature similar like your PC.

If you have a phone with 12gb ram or more you won't really need to turn it ON.

Only scenario it may be worthwhile is somehow you are doing a lot of multitasking on your phone like photo editing or video editing etc where it might help a bit.
Otherwise just keep it off really

I keep it off. It's slows down the phone and uses more storage.
