Hi All
Can someone help.
I have Samsung A52s 5G purchased this March. No way can I take a Selfie with Selfie Capture by vertical hand-swipe i.e. Gesture Swipe method.
I have checked the following:
Good light conditions.
Gesture Swipe is ticked in the Settings.
My software is upto date.
Front lens is clean.
I have Swiped with my vertical palm and flat palm very close to lens, then at various distances away from it, upto about 18 inches away from the lens.
Phone software has been completely reset.
Normal Selfie capture by side buttons and the floating Accessibility icon work fine.
Samsung Technician could not resolve the issue.
Any help much appreciated.
Best regards ,

Try opening and closing your hand , i think your getting mixed up with a screen shot ! Swiping your palm on your screen usually takes a screen shot. When taking a selfie if you open and close your hand then it will count down and take the photo . Hope this helps 🙂
