At first my Samsung A70 was able to connect to the Wi-Fi at home and on campus very well. I would receive 4 bars of connectivity. Then since last week it's been receiving one to two bars. Was there a new software update? Wondering why there is this sudden loss of connectivity which sometimes results in no connectivity at all?

First try a Soft Reboot by turning the phone Off and On.

It maybe beneficial to forget the wifi connection in the phone settings and then re set this up.

This could also be due to the campus equipment.

Perhaps check with their IT Department, and other people who are connecting to wifi to see what their experiences are.

To add does your phone hook up ok to other sources such as coffee shops Ok ?

With your Home Broadband try splitting the frequencies in your router to 2.4ghz and 5ghz and then connect to one and then the other to see if that helps.

A Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre can run a diagnostic test.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

I also have the same problem on my galaxy a70. I had a j7 before and I could connect to the wifi in my house from my room. But for some reason the same router is out of reach for my a70 in the same room. I am fed up and need a solution
