This is very strange. The first thing I would do is: Settings, Apps, Netflix, force stop, clear cache.
Press the power button on the device once and wait 1 minute, or leave it unplugged for 3 minutes instead. Plug your device back in. Turn your device on and try Netflix again.
Fully uninstall and reinstall Netflix.
If that doesn't help:
Connect your phone to a PC/laptop. 1. Turn off the device. 2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and Power key. 3. When the Android logo appears, release both keys. 4. An "Installing system update" message may appear briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear. 5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight "clear cache partition". 6. Press the Power key to select. 7. Press the Volume down key to highlight "Yes," then press the Power key to select. 8. When the process is complete, "Reboot system now" will be highlighted. 9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
