Performance issues ANDROID 15

After the most recent Android update, my phone's performance has taken a serious hit. Everything feels noticeably slower—apps take longer to open, there's frequent lag, and even basic actions like scrolling are choppy and delayed. On top of that, the battery is draining much faster than usual, even when the phone is idle.

I tried a full factory reset hoping it would resolve the issues, but unfortunately, it made no difference. Whatever changes were introduced in this update have significantly degraded the overall user experience.

I strongly urge the developers to address these performance and battery problems in the next patch. As it stands, this update has made my phone frustrating to use.

Did that...my phone is a piece of rubbish right now....absolutely disgusting what Samsung did with this "update"

So you factory reset the phone. Did you then just smart switch all the apps back again ?

Can I ask what A series phone you have ?

I have had good success in the past by synchronising the essential data such as contacts, messages and photos etc to google account.

Then do a factory reset and do NOT smart switch the contents of the phone back again.

Typically a rogue or incompatible app causes these issues of drain and slowdowns.

Look at the task as a spring clean. Start by installing all your essential apps from scratch that you need regularly. For those apps you use rarely or not at all... then just leave them until you actually find a need for using it.

By doing this process, any app where the developer have not updated for Oneui7 will not be installed.

It is highly likely your issues will disappear. I am.not guaranteeing, but it is worth the few hours of efforts to do a complete clean of the phone.

I did all the Samsung support team steps, I've spent over 2h on the phone with Samsung "technician"...factory reset, sim out,back up,optimisation done, deleting account and restoreing it back...all steps done... yet my phone is a piece of rubbish right now

I go back to my question.. when you did a factory reset, did you restore your apps using smartswitch ? You didnt specify in your response ?

You would know if you did or not, as it would take many hours to put them all back on again...

So did you install all your apps individually from scratch using play store installations ?

Thx m8 but I did all this already..literally all steps provided by Samsung technician did absolutely nothing

Hola, estoy en la misma situación. He intentado de todo en mi teléfono: seguí varios videos de optimización, ajustes manuales, y nada funciona. Desde que actualicé a Android 15 en mi Galaxy A15, el rendimiento ha caído muchísimo. Antes el teléfono iba muy bien, todo era fluido. Pero ahora las animaciones y transiciones se sienten lentas, las apps tardan en cargar, y hasta la cámara abre con demasiada demora. Navegar entre las opciones dentro de la app de cámara (como video, foto, filtros, etc.) también se ha vuelto desesperantemente lento, y no solo eso, esta el dilema de la batería que no me dilata mucho, y eso que mi teléfono es nuevo apenas lleva 2 meses de uso. Android 15 dejo completamente a mi teléfono como uno de 2 de RAM en cuestión de funcionalidad.

Don't know if this person did this.
But, I have similar issues, and frankly, I have no time for this.
I use most of my apps.
I can't even open in save mode to check which app could crate this issue.
It definitely put me off from the future of installing the updates.
