One UI 2 update

I have a Samsung galaxy a7 2018 or SM-A750FN and I am currently stuck on android 9 with one ui 1, I have a friend that has a j6 and he is on one ui 2 and android 10, from what I can tell but the imei number my phone was made in Finland if that's of any use, and no checking for updates and factory resetting doesn't work, what weird is that on the members app I'd doesn't mention the it's meant to get and upgrade, only the a9, but there are articles saying otherwise. Any help would be appreciated, if this can't be fixed I might just have to root it

Looking at the list of eligible phones to get Androud 10 your model shows that is should get the update around April 2020.

 

Was the phone supplied directly by Samsung ?

Was the phone supplied directly by a Network  ?

Was the phone imported from another country  ?
