No Sound on Spotify through Bluetooth speaker, will play on my own phone.

I can play you tube via my Bluetooth but Spotify won't play onto speaker via Bluetooth. Only on my phone. Was working just stiped randomly, I've tried removing cache, removing data, off an on with device, checked for updates (couldn't find any) checking audio output can anyone advise with anything new?

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members.

Swipe down from the top- should be a button called media output" press on it- change to your speaker.

Or
Within spotify- when playing a song you should be able to select the device to the bottom right- change to speaker.

It says I'm connected to speaker but the sound is still coming out of phone.. I don't seem to have a media output button. Well I can't find it anyway!

Go to settings- connections- bluetooth- gear icon next to device- is audio turned on?

Are you able to test the exact speaker on another phone On Spotify?

Is this ONLY spotify or other apps too?

That's a good idea. I will need to wait for the return of a teenager for that! It's strange because i can play youtube and take calls through the bluetooth speaker.. It's like something is stopping Spotify from playing.
