No notification sound when receiving emails

I have an A20 phone. My notification sounds and ringtone are all set properly for my email account but my phone is just silent when I receive emails. I think it has been like this since the last software update, not sure what has happened..please advise! Thanks.

We have the same issue with multiple Samsung device users at our work.   Seems to be an OS issue as we tried two different email apps and it's impacting both.
