New UI bad

So we got a new forced update. I can look past that everything looks uglier, as you guys need to sometimes change stuff to show you are still doing updates I guess. But this update messes everything up. I for example can no longer change the brightness from my Phone directly. I can no longer easily see my messages. 

Could you please stop with having interns do design updates for the sake of design updates? And stop making us the testers.

Updates are never optional so not sure why you emphasised "forced".

To change your brightness directly, swipe down from the top right of the screen.

Need more info on your issue with messages.

Also you aren't a tester? The people in the beta program are the testers

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

The update has been releasing for months; surprised you've missed it.

What I think you're struggling with the brightness is they've made it so swiping from the right shows notifications and the left is quick access, showing all controls—like brightness.

If you swipe down from the right, click the little pen icon in the top right to enter edit mode. In the top left, you'll see panel settings; here you can change your quick panel from "separate" to "together."
