I've read about certain pre installed apps not being so great for your device or your data / privacy.
One being mobile services manager, is this app really that bad and what would I be missing if I disabled it ?
I have a UK Galaxy A70 with csc XEU so it shouldn't contain any carrier specific items should it ?

I had to disable it on my wife's A71 as it tried to force us to install games, acted like a launcher, and blocked opening other apps. Hungarian Samsung service was unable to advise what caused the above issues, I have spent almost 2 hours figuring it out. No adverse effects so far.

Yeah I have mine disabled since this initial post and nothing bad at all has happened, I get way better battery usage as well.
