Why does my Samsung A51 not show notifications anymore?

I have tried using Samsungs recommendation to delete cache but this has also not worked.

@Barnaby: For clarity, have you tried all the steps laid out in the troubleshooting guide provided by @xSteveuk? 

In the meantime, please head to Settings > Notifications > Select 'Brief' > Included Apps > Toggle on 'All Apps' > Back > Do Not Disturb > Hide Notifications > Toggle off 'Hide All', or switch off Do Not Disturb if you're not using it.

I have tried this and other recommendations online but to no avail. I can manually go into each message and click 3 lines and alarm icon at the bottom but unable to remove all in one go.
