Hi @Car_Tech_Guy Welcome to the Samsung community
Ensure all your apps are up to date.
clearing the cache parition is recommended after updates (particularly major ones) and can help with crashes/freezes.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
However with the new software there is a Battery learning phase again which can take up to 14 days so there may be an impact. you could reset the Battery stats, dial *#9900# on the Samsung phone app with Auto Blocker off, look for Battery stats Reset and restart Device.
whilst I have known this credits to @lminvti ,@Moiramon and @Piper123 who have mentioned this recently.
A number of customisations can also made with Good Lock https://news.samsung.com/global/exploring-good-lock-%E2%91%A0-the-ultimate-personalization-tool-disc...
There have been a number of threads on these issues.

Please perform wipe cache partition after every update. Here is a video on how to do it.

Allow some time for the phone to adapt to the update, it will get better again after a couple of weeks, the AI will take care of this.

Turn off battery protection as well. I was using battery protection switch on and I noticed too much drain but after turning it off I'm happy now .
