How do I switch from 3 column pictures in a gallery's album back to 2? I accidently swiped out but can't swipe in to make it 2 again. I can press down on the pic and it shows me the 2 columns, but the second I life my finger it goes back to 3 columns again.
I just tried it, with that list I can set 2, 3, 5 columns, but I can't set 4 columns if I have that list on the left. It's software related, I don't think the store can help you, nor can I, try contacting Samsung support through the Samsung Members app
In your video you hold the picture,that's wrong way, because you marked all pictures this way. You must just tap the screen, swipe to the right and lift your finger. To get rid of list folder must do opposite way- just tap the screen, swipe to the left and lift your finger
I wish it were that simple and I can't seem to send you a video because my phone is the object that I would need to video. There must be a defect and I'm telling you it's not working. I can get it to go from 3 to 4 and from four back to 3.

I guess you do this - instead of just tapping the screen, you hold the image. That way you mark all the images, and it's true that then you can see two columns, as soon as you release your finger, it goes back to 3 columns. I don't know why you hold the image at all, just tap the screen with two fingers and spread your fingers, it will stay on 2 columns, if you saw it work from 3 to 4 and vice versa, then it also works from 3 to 2, it can't work a little so it doesn't work.
A lot of things in life can or can't work a little or not at all. I am telling you it really doesn't work. I will go to the cell phone store soon and see what they say and if they can adjust it. Then I will let you know. Thanks for trying to help.
Before you go to the store , can you upload a screenshot of your Gallery?
Do you have a list of Gallery folders on the far left, and you didn't have it before? In that case, you will always have 3 columns. (one is that list, and two are the images in the folder you are looking at). To get rid of that list, swipe left with two fingers to the end of the screen.
I did have that gallery folder list (which is fine) and then the sets of two columns of pics. I don't mind the gallery list and the 2 columns of pics are much better and bigger than having 3 columns of much smaller pics (don't always want to have to grab for those reading glasses). But thanks. Headed out within 2 hours or so to the cell store.
