Hi!
I wonder is there some way to get apart a single photo from a motion photo which as I assume, is a short video clip.
Sometimes there is unnecessary pictures in it and possibly only one good one which I would like to save without sound and unclear pictures.
Is there possibly some editing tool in Samsung Galaxy A52 or in Google Play for such use?
I now tried to take a screenshot and send it via WhatsApp. But would rather like to get that real photo clipped out from that tiny video which that motion photo seems to me..
Thank you for your points of view!

Thanks for the info about where the stills screenshots of the moving photo were saved. I had looked everywhere but never thought of checking videos!

The bigger question is why can't I disable the motion photo option permanently? It is so annoying to take a bunch of pictures of an event only to find out later the stupid motion photo option was on accidentally (because I would never turn this worthless feature on intentionally). I wish people would stop adding garbage features to common/ubiquitous applications and then not give you an option to disable or remove them. Sooooooo frustrated.

I understand your opinion, and Ithink there is a way how not to take motion lhitis at all! Sorry that I am not able tiistai tell you right awyhow to do that!
My own way off lookkng att motin photos have changed a lot! Today I just love motion photos while they are so much more than one silent still photo. Motion and sound gives so much vitality and life.
Also in very quick situations sports, animals, children etc you ate able to captivate possible more easily at least one good still shot while you several ones to choose from. At least Inhooe that for you! 😃

1. Go to photo in google photos app
2. Select Edit
3. Where you see words 'suggestion' 'crop' and scroll those words to the left and other mwnus will appear until you get to 'motion'
4. Use the new bar then to move to the frame you want and click 'export frame' on the frame you want
