In Quick Settings, long press on the Potrait/Landscape icon. A menu will appear and you can toggle off "Show rotate button on navigation bar".
Or you could simply click on Potrait/Landscape mode icon to turn on Auto rotate. When you rotate your phone, the orientation will change automatically from potrait to landscape and vice versa.

Seems like screen is not set to auto rotate mode.

The portrait logo remains for a long time, after which there is an option to disable that feature.

even if i long press it nothing appears
