Hi, I can afford a new A series phone, but how can you;

1) Tell it's a New model?

2) Find which one is closest to an S model I.e. A## bs S21?

Thank you in advance for the help.

I would say that unless you know the camera and how it looks and looking at the actual back then no.

I would get an a72 or an a52

if it'd got a 2 after it it's the latest one so for example the a72 is newer than the a71, if you want 5g the a52 5g is closest to the s21 if you not bothered about 5g the a72 has a better camera battery and is slightly larger, both look to be good phones

I was looking at the A52 5G announcement on this app and wasn't too enamoured with the lack of detail about the phone when I followed the link to the Samsung website. I had a mediatek powered tablet and it was rubbish, I replaced it with my Tab A7 actually when it broke. It ran very hot and the battery was atrocious. I much prefer to have Qualcomm devices as you know what you are getting with them, just like Ford cars. They may not always be the best but they generally work properly and have custom ROMs available after a while if you don't like the stock.

All Samsung focus on is how good the camera is on their web page. Who cares that much, what about the rest of the phone?

All I want is a good signal for calls, and to watch stuff from Internet, and at a good price for me not Samsung 😉

exactly, with you 100% on that. I'll probably stick with Motorola for my next phone. A moto G30 Power most likely (if there is one). Not sure why they jumped to 30 but my Moto G4 has lasted for years. It's starting to struggle now though with the latest updates to the Android platform and apps. Code bloat is an issue on older phones with lower RAM than modern ones

@TheYeti: Please follow the link below to find our latest A range devices, which are typically listed in the order they were released, although this isn't 100% accurate. If you're unsure which one to go for, try using the filters on the left side of the screen to narrow down your search.
