Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK Community Forum

If someone tags you in a post, you'll get a notification (if you have notifications turned on).

If someone comments on one of your posts without tagging you? I've not seen a notification setting for that myself but if there is one, another member will comment.

You can also go to your own profile and see all your own threads.

Hi,
If you use your Samsung members app (available from the Galaxy store) to post stuff, then you'll receive notifications as long as you've got notification catagories toggled on.
Settings>notifications >advanced settings >manage notification catagories for each app. Toggle that ON
Settings>notifications >app notifications. Scroll down to the Samsung Members app. Tap on it. Toggle on everything in that list (see screenshot).

Tap on your profile picture.

Tap on My Subscriptions.

Tap on the grey bar with My subscriptions in it. 

A pop up will show up with various options.

Tap on Notifications Settings. 

Tick the Notify me when I post, reply, submit a review, or comment.

There are other options within that page you can turn on too.

People can comment on your posts, photos ect don't actually have to tag you on IG probably other platforms as well.
