As the title suggests I'm expecting a problem with my touch screen, sometimes touches just don't register both on the strip which is roughly 4-5 centimetres from the top of the screen and sometimes on other areas as well. I've tried restarting and I've also tried putting my phone into safe mode so I could clear the cache however my A52S 5G only restarts when I hold down the power button+volume down. Power+volume up isn't doing anything either. People with the same problem online have linked it to a system update but my last system update was last month. And I've not had any problems until today. I've had this phone for just over a year. Does someone know how to fix this?

You will need to plug your phone into a computer or another phone.
Just in case I have listed the process below

Wiping cache partition fixes some of the bugs and improve performance by removing unwanted cache files.

Turn off your phone.

Connect your phone with a USB cable
to PC or another Samsung mobile

You will see the charging icon on your screen.
Wait till it shows charging with battery percentage.

Next, press and hold the Volume up and Side key simultaneously.
You can press the volume up button just before the Side key.
The Samsung Logo followed by
Samsung Galaxy appears on the
screen.

At this point, release the keys
Phone will boot into Android Recovery mode

In Android recovery mode, using Volume keys, choose "Wipe Cache
Partition" .

Then press Side Key to Confirm by selecting "Yes" and then press Side Key

You get "cache wipe complete" at the
bottom of the screen
Restart the phone to complete the
process

Also if you go into the support section on the Members App
Go into diagnostics
There is a section to test the touch response of the screen

Thank you, I will try this. I already tried the diagnostic for touch screen but it told me nothing was wrong because about one time out of ten the touch will register but it hasn't detected any problems. Anyway I'll let you know how the cache wipe goes
