My google search has stopped working and wonder if this was caused by a recent WhatsApp update?

Just unistall WhatsApp then, and see if google search works. Just do a WhatsApp backup first.

Mine stopped yesterday, emails first, then Google and other apps were crashing too.
Go into the Google play Store, My Apps and update all from there. Once complete, restart your phone. It should be ok then? !!
