Hi,

Here at home we have the same phones, and we just noticed that one of them has the Plat Store version updated since two days ago, while the other hasn't updated, yet.

This is only out of curiosity. Hoping someone here knows.

The phones are both Samsung Galaxy A26

Newer version

Older version

Thank you so much for any information about it. And yes, both phones are updated on Security and Privacy - Updates - Google Play system update.

Thank you!

Google are probably doing staggered role outs.

Some phones get an update early, some get it later. If the early phones have a bug or something breaks, google can fix it before everyone else gets it. So kinda like unwilling beta testing in a way.

That's my guess as to why

It makes total sense. Thank you so much for your feedback!

My A25 is on the older version and when I clicked on "Update Play Store, I got a message saying "Google Play Store is up to date".

Have both of the A26s been updated to One UI 8? If one of them hasn't, that could be the reason, as phones on One UI 8 haven't been getting Google play system updates.

I did that too, but only one updated to the newer version, that was when I noticed, three days ago.

And, yes, both phones have the latest updates, Android 16 One UI 8.0, both have the exact same apps., everything equal.
