I've just bought an a54 and updated it to 6.0. I went to check from settings if the play store had an update, it did so I updated it but still says July. I've gone back to see if there was another update but it doesn't do anything and just seems to load. Yet when I go into the play store and download updates from there it says no updates available 🤔 

Anyone else having the same problem?

Is there a problem? My A53 and S23 Ultra are the same. As long as I don't have a problem with using the Play Store, then it don't matter what date it's on. I always manually update my apps. However I've noticed on occasion, the phone downloading files for the Play Store in the drop down notifications. It must have initiated that on its own.

Ok so I have S23 Ultra bought direct from Samsung in February.

It is running on Google Play Store September 2023 update.
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Do you mean the Google Pay System Play Update?

If so, have you tried to go to Google Files>App>System Apps>Google System Play>App details in store> to see if there is an update. My A54 is on the October Google Play System Update currently.

There is a issue with the Google Play Services being struck on July or earlier for some people. My S22ultra is struck on October. don't know if it's because everyone has updated to Android 14 Ui6, just seems strange since it was released this has started to happen.

It worked this morning and was an update but still stuck on July. Weird cause my tab a8 is on November but my a54 is stuck on July 🤔1702466046906.jpg

Tbh it's not a problem it's just weird how it's still stuck in July when others have got November's one. My tab a8 is on October yet my a54 on July. 🤔

Do you mean updating your apps? Auto update might be on, you can turn it off if that's the case.

I have auto update of all apps turned off. Both in the Play Store and Galaxy Store. Also system software is off for download too. I prefer to initiate it, after reading the update description.
I know what you mean about different handsets and tablets being so different with the versions.
