I've just gone in settings, apps, Google play servers to see if there was a update. But it's telling me to remove all updates 

Shall I wait till Google play system ,August update first

That's normal. You don't need to check for updates, just leave it alone. Your phone will update it itself if it needs to

I've always done the update as it doesn't do it, it's self, I'll leave it how it is thank you for your reply

Some apps will give you the option to remove updates. Depending on the app, you might get Update, Uninstall and Remove updates.
