This is for my elderly parents…
They have a Samsung A15 5G sold by Trac Fone.
it appears to have been setup before, but when it’s turned on, we have to go through the set up procedure like it’s a new phone. All is well, and things like their email address appear without needing to enter them.
The problem arises when it wants to verify the telephone number. It’s asks for the number, then supposedly sends a text with a verification code. We can’t get to anything like Messages to GET the code! We’re locked in this set up screen and can’t move beyond it!
Does anyone know how we can fix this problem??? I mean, I can’t get to ANYTHING, I’ve tried swiping in all directions, trying all buttons… Enough to leave me scratching my head…
Trac Fone wants us to purchase a maintenance plan to even talk to them… My dad wants to chuck the phone and get a landline…
please help…
